Sadly, my blogging mentor, South Knox Bubba has decided to call it quits for now.
I would like to personally thank Bubba for all of the hard work he put into his site, and managing to create a true on-line community at his blog. It was also one of the few politically oriented blogs where one could occassionally get a genuine debate rather than dueling talking points.
Of course it goes without saying that we'll all really, really miss Friday Bird Blogging.
Best wishes Bubba wherever your life takes you, and if you ever get back on-line, I'm sure the bubbhists will quickly migrate back to their favorite roost on the internet.
Amen. We at the Brain owe Bubba a lot and will miss him greatly.

No way. SKB cannot desert us now, when the troops so desperately need reinforcements. He's just not the type to give it over to the Instadumbits--I think SKB is a sly shapeshifter who will return shortly in another format.

I'm very sorry to see both the blog and blab fold. The blab can fortunately be reconstituted, but the blog is a major loss. And I still hope he comes back to New York one of these days so we can buy him a Scotch or two.

He also took down his website with his photography, spoofs, stories, photoshopping, etc. It looks to me like he is gone as far as the web is concerned but, I sincerely hope that I am wrong.
